Choreographed Britney Spears for her chartbuster ‘Womeniser’ from her album ‘Circus’ (Sandip was later nominated for the prestigious ‘American Choreography Award 2009’ in the music video choreography category)
International Dance Sports Federation for the first time has introduced Ballroom Dancing as a form of sport in the forthcoming Olympic Games 2012. Sandip is the sole faculty to train participants from India.He was the first Indian to be invited to judge the Asian Latin & Ballroom Dance Championship held at Colombo where 32 countries took part with 78 competitive dances.
Sandip is a faculty member for the ‘Femina Miss India’, ‘Grasim Mr. India’, ‘Indian Idol’ and ‘Dance India Dance’ Contests, where he gives lectures & demonstrations on ‘International Dance Appreciation’. The contestants are introduced to various Latin American, Standard Ballroom & other famous Club Dances. He is also a part of the grooming faculty for the winning contestants who farther go ahead to represent India at the various international contests.
A faculty member at various finishing schools in Mumbai; 'Image Inc - A Birla Lifestyle Venture' headed by Avantika Birla and Rukshana Eisa and at Padmini Kholapure's Model Shoppe' headed by Tejaswini Kholapure. Sandip teaches body posture, poise, dance floor etiquette, body language & grace for couple dances at social gatherings.
